A new website has been designed for the Brooklyn Public Library and its branches. Library staff is currently testing it.
A major change from the previous site is that
"The old BPL website required you to choose between searching our catalog and searching the content of our website. On the new site, you can search for anything in the same search field."Another advantage is that
"Our new online account center allows you to access all of your library card features in one place: all the information about your borrowed materials - items on hold, renewals, fines - as well as email subscriptions, room reservations and program registrations. You will need to log in using your barcode."
