COMMUNITY-WIDE POSTCARD PROTEST WRITING PARTY

If you are going to be at this event,
please RSVP to acdesign @ verizon.net.

Community-wide Postcard Protest Writing Party
Tuesday, February 7th, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

For next week's Resist Trump Tuesday, write postcards to send to the White House or to your representatives. At the same time, meet and connect with activists who live nearby.

Flood your representatives with postcards; handwritten mail is the most effective way to communicate with elected officials.

A donation of $3 or $4 will be requested. It'll be used to reimburse the organizers for the stamps and postcards they provide. Or you can bring your own.

Any money that's left over will be donated to the ACLU, which is in court challenging the legality of Trump's Muslim ban.

The writing party will be at
Brooklyn Commune
601 Greenwood Avenue, at the corner of Prospect Avenue
Windsor Terrace

If you're in Park Slope and you're taking the F train to the Fort Hamilton Parkway station, get on toward the back of the train.

BYOB or buy beer and wine from Brooklyn Commune, whose owners are generously donating the use of their restaurant for this event.

Bring suggestions for an action to focus on next week, whether it's writing more postcards, making phone calls, or some other activity.

Keep the pressure on.
