From our New York City Councilmember, Brad Lander:
This Saturday at 10 a.m., immigrant families are invited to attend a free Parent Information Forum at P.S. 130/M.S. 839. Representatives from city agencies and local organizations will be on hand to provide information about immigrant rights, suggest helpful resources, and answer questions. The event will include speakers from the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, the NYC Commission on Human Rights, and legal service providers. They will provide overviews of supports and services in place for immigrant families and address concerns created by statements from the incoming federal administration.
We’ll have translation services available in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Spanish, and Urdu.
