Parent Information Forum: Immigrant Rights & Supportive Resources
Saturday, December 10, at 10 a.m.
Hosted by P.S. 130/M.S. 839
Parkside Education Complex, 713 Caton Avenue

If you have questions about the event, e-mail Vicki Sell at vsell @ council.nyc.gov.

My office has teamed up with Council Member Carlos Menchaca, Assemblymember elect Robert Carroll, Department of Education District 15 Superintendent Anita Skop, and the
Department of Education District 15 Community Education Council to put on this event. Thanks to all!
The event will include speakers from the Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, the NYC Commission on Human Rights, and legal service providers. They will provide overviews of supports and services in place for immigrant families and address concerns created by statements from the incoming federal administration.

A "mini resource fair" will follow the speaking portion of the program. Parents will be able to speak directly to representatives of city agencies and local organizational resources to get more information and to address their specific concerns.
