FREE CONCERT BY BENGALI ROCK BAND


The Feringhees
Saturday, August 20th, 2:00 p.m.

Bengali rock group The Feringhees will perform in a free concert this Saturday at the East Fourth Street Community Garden. The garden is on E. 4th Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue.

The band primarily plays Bengali and other Indian music in the rock genre.

The Queens-based band was founded in 2012. Its members are Shakir "Epitaph" Tonmoy on vocals and guitar, Rafaat Hossain on guitar and bass, Nusrat Hossain on violin, Safeer Islam "Lemons" on guitar, Tahmeed Qazi on drums, and Nadeem Qazi Ahmad "Brown Sugar" on guitar and bass.
