OPTING OUT: WINDSOR TERRACE PARENTS WILL GET TOGETHER TO TALK ABOUT OPTING OUT OF HIGH STAKES STANDARDIZED TESTS

Opting Your Child Out of High Stakes Tests
Tuesday, March 31st, 7:00 p.m.

Parents of P.S. 154, P.S. 130, P.S. 107, and other neighborhood schools:

Get together for an informal conversation with other parents and people from the Opt Out movement. Listen, learn, ask, share, and discuss opting out of the upcoming high stakes standardized tests.

Gather on Tuesday (March 31st) at 7:00 p.m. at the Windsor Cafe at 220 Prospect Park West, between Windsor Place and 16th Street.

On hand to talk and answer questions will be Katie Lapham, elementary school teacher and blogger, Fred Smith, retired Department of Education testing specialist, and, hopefully, Michael Elliot, P.S. 321 parent and maker of "Refuse the Tests," the film of opt out testimonials posted above.
