CRIME IS THE SUBJECT AT TONIGHT'S TOWN HALL MEETING AT P.S. 139

Town Hall Meeting on Crime
Thursday, November 20th, 7:30 p.m.

Borough President Eric Adams will host a town hall meeting on crime tonight because of the recent increase in crimes--specifically, armed robberies--against small businesses, their customers, and their employees in the Kensington-Ditmas Park community.

Also participating will be New York City Councilmember Mathieu Eugene (District 40), Councilmember Jumaane Williams (District 45), New York State Assemblymember Rhoda Jacobs (District 42), other local elected officials, and officers from the NYPD 70th Precinct. Residents will be given a chance to express their concerns.

Lauren Elvers Collins, Executive Director of the Church Avenue BID, and Robin Redmond, Executive Director of the Flatbush Development Corporation, will moderate the meeting.

The meeting will be held in the P.S. 139 auditorium at 330 Rugby Road. The school is located between Cortelyou Road and Beverley roads, closer to Cortelyou.
