EZRAGUITAR WELCOMES SUMMER BY BRINGING FREE "MAKE MUSIC NEW YORK" TO OUR NEIGHBORHOOD

"Make Music New York" at EzraGuitar

Saturday, June 21st, 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

EzraGuitar is making it happen--bringing the free music festival "Make Music New York," now in its eighth year, to Kensington. The festival takes place annually on the summer solstice in indoor and outdoor venues throughout the five boroughs, wherever it's offered a home.

Lend your ears to six hours of a variety of music, brought to the community by EzraGuitar.

The schedule:

• 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.: International School of Brooklyn--a student recital, with performances by children as young as 4 years old,
• 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Nancy Goudinaki--the jazz singer/guitarist is tentatively scheduled,
• 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Scott Wilson--oud, dumbek, and belly dancer,
• 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.: David Bertand Quartet--modern jazz informed by the folk lark music of Trinidad and Tobago.
