Opening Reception: Artist Mark Ziemann
Friday, February 28th, 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Painter, cartoonist, and caricature artist Mark Ziemann (aka "Z-Man") will be the next artist featured on the walls of Steeplechase Coffee. His show will hang from February 28th--the night of the opening reception--through March 27th.
Mark is also a photographer, a jewelry-maker, and a comedian. Books of his cartoons, caricatures, and photographs include the cartoon book Slice O'Riley, released just a few weeks ago on Kindle.
Z-Man's work has been published in New York Magazine, Inside Chicago Magazine, The East Bay Monthly, and many others. He teaches art at two area colleges--Pratt Institute and Baruch College.
