TOY AND "KID STUFF" DRIVE IN KWT FOR BROOKLYN FAMILIES

KWT Holiday Toy Drive
Sunday, December 15th, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

To help Brooklyn families who are in need, Cynthia King Dance Studio and Friends of Greenwood Playground are working together on a holiday toy/gear/wish list drive, in partnership with Little Essentials.

Donate
  • new, unwrapped toys for girls and boys ages 0 to 4 and
  • baby gear, such as gently-used Pack 'n Plays, strollers (umbrella and infant), winter bunting for strollers, co-sleepers, and car seats for infants and toddlers.

Bring the gifts to Cynthia's studio at 1256 Prospect Avenue in Windsor Terrace.

Little Essentials describes its mission:
Little Essentials is a community-based nonprofit organization in Fort Greene Brooklyn that keeps families together by providing free infant and toddler (to age 4) clothing, gear, toys and other essentials to Brooklyn families living in poverty. Little Essentials helps keep children safe (in cribs, car seats and clothing); lifts the spirit and provides hope to their parents; and takes care of the environment by reusing items that are only briefly used.
