MORE TRAINS FOR THE G LINE

Changes in Brooklyn neighborhoods have led the MTA to make changes in its bus and subway service. In the case of the G line, starting immediately, more trains will be running during the 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and the 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. rush hours.

Starting in the summer of 2014, G trains will run more frequently on weekdays between 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. than they currently do. The MTA predicts that passengers' waiting time for a G train will decrease from the current ten minutes to eight and a half minutes.
