RAPE ATTEMPT ON WEBSTER AVENUE

A man intending to rape and rob a woman earlier this week grabbed her from behind, hurled her to the ground, and demanded that she give her money to him. When she resisted, he fled.

The twenty-four-year-old woman was walking near 275 Webster Avenue (one block south of 18th Avenue), between Ocean Parkway and E. 8th Street, on Tuesday, July 23rd, at 2:40 a.m., when the man attacked her. 

The perpetrator is a dark-skinned Hispanic man with dark hair worn in a short rounded Afro, is between 27 and 32 years old, and is between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches tall. When last seen, he was wearing a black T-shirt and dark blue jeans.
