The MTA won't be issuing refunds or extending expiration dates for seven-day or thirty-day Unlimited Ride Metrocard purchased prior to the arrival of Hurricane Sandy. The MTA suspended all service as of the evening of Sunday, October 28th, and service remained unavailable or limited on many lines for varying amounts of time. But we do have the memory of two days of free rides.
