HAVING TROUBLE VOTING FOR SEAN'S RESCUE? DON'T GIVE UP.

So many people rushed to vote for their favorite charity today in the Chase Community Giving program that Chase had to issue this statement on its website and on its Facebook page:
The response to this year's program is overwhelming!

While we are very excited about all of this activity, the traffic is making it difficult for some people to cast their votes. Not to worry, we are actively working to resolve this issue, so please be patient.

Please stay tuned for an update.
That message is still there, and it's been there for many hours.

If you've been trying to get to Chase's Facebook page to vote for Sean Casey Animal Rescue, don't get discouraged. Keep trying to help the rescue win a grant.

Five million dollars in grant money will be divided among the 196 charities that get the most votes. The grants will be in the amounts of $10,000, $20,000, $50,000, $100,000, and $250,000; the more votes a charity gets, the larger the grant.

At last count, the rescue had garnered more than 400 votes, in spite of Chase's technological difficulties.
