GOLDEN FARM OWNER SUES BOYCOTT ORGANIZERS

The next move has been made in the battle between the owner of Golden Farm and some of his present and former employees. Owner Sonny Kim has brought a $3 million lawsuit against New York Communities for Change (NYCC), the group that helped some of his employees organize themselves and subsequently vote to join a union.

Mr. Kim is charging that NYCC's boycott tactics have caused a 20% drop in his revenues and have done severe and irreparable harm to his business. In addition, they are seen in a video demonstrating inside his store, which is private property.
