A VIBRANT NEWKIRK AVENUE

From Compost for Brooklyn:
It's time to show Newkirk Avenue some love! Would you like to help transform an ordinary city street into a vibrant, green, and welcoming place in just one day?

Compost for Brooklyn, a community composting project on Newkirk Avenue in Kensington (Parkville/Midwood/Ditmas Park area), and the Newkirk Cares Collaborative are excited to announce three upcoming Street Gardening Workdays on Newkirk Avenue. Come spend a few hours with neighbors, make new friends, and help beautify the streetscape, plant flowers, and care for the sidewalk trees.

Join in the fun! The first workday is Sunday, March 18th.
E-mail newkirk.collaborative @ gmail.com or just meet us at 10:00 a.m. at the Compost for Brooklyn garden.

The following workdays will take place: Sunday, April 15th, and Sunday, May 20th, also at 10:00 a.m., at the Compost for Brooklyn garden.
