WORKSHOP: HOW TO MANAGE A FERAL CAT COLONY

Workshop: Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR): How to Manage a Feral Cat Colony
Saturday, February 11th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Learn how to care for feral and stray cats in the neighborhood and make use of the many resources that are available.

All of the steps needed to set up a managed colony will be covered in this workshop, including establishing good community relations, feeding, building and placing shelters, arranging veterinary care, finding recovery space, safely handling feral cats, and trapping (with an emphasis on conducting a mass trapping of an entire feral colony at once).

All workshop attendees will become TNR-certified. Residents of New York City  will gain access to affordable spay/neuter and trap rental.

Cost: The class is free.
