Retired art teacher Risa Johnson has room for another one or two children (ages seven to eleven) in her Saturday morning art class. The class "covers art projects more in depth than in the usual classroom setting," Risa says on the KWT Neighbors listserv.
Risa is NYC Licensed in Art Education K-8 (M.A.) and Special Ed. K-12 (M.S.), with thirty-one years of experience teaching Art, Resource Room, and Special Ed. in the NYC public schools.
The classes meet on E. 4th Street, between Beverley Road and Avenue C, on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
