LEARN HOW TO READ A BUILDING

Building Stories, with author Isabel Hill
Sunday, November 20th, 11:00 a.m. to noon

Local children's book author, architectural historian, and photographer Isabel Hill will teach children (and adults) how to "read" a building next week at Babbo's Books. This event is open to people of all ages--although the book is meant for ages four through eleven--and it's free.

The book Building Stories discovers the history of buildings all around us by using clues found on the buildings themselves.

Isabel Hill's first book was Urban Animals. It's about the animals that hide in New York City architecture. It was a finalist for the 2010 Benjamin Franklin Award.

Both of the books will be available for purchase at the reading.

An RSVP is required because space in the store is limited.
