From today (November 1st) until next Monday (November 7th), donate unopened Halloween candy to P.S. 154, and two Brooklyn dentists--Dr. Miriam Bonet of Universal Dental Arts and Dr. Sophia Milito of Park Dentistry--will pay the school $1.00 for each pound of candy donated. Put the candy in the drop box inside the school's front door.
The candy will be shipped to troops deployed overseas as Holiday Care Packages through Operation Gratitude. The money raised will be used to put books in the school's classrooms.
Last year, the Halloween Candy Buy-Back program received and shipped 125 tons of candy.
