ASSEMBLYMEMBER BRENNAN SPEAKS AT ANA THIS WEEK

Albemarle Neighborhood Association Meeting
Thursday, November 17th, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Guest speaker:
New York State Assemblymember James Brennan
on issues of importance to our community.

Assemblymember Brennan is the Chair of the Committee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions. His committee has jurisdiction over laws concerning private, not-for-profit, and public corporations. It also focuses on public authorities, like the MTA and other public transportation and the State Public Service Commission (electric, gas, telephone and water utilities).

He is also a member of the Committee on Codes--which considers issues and legislation regarding the State’s criminal and civil justice system--the Committee on Education, and the Committee on Real Property Taxation.

He'll be happy to answer your questions about his committee work or other aspects of the Assembly and how they affect us as a community.
