FOUR FELONIES IN KENSINGTON IN THE TWO WEEKS FROM SEPTEMBER 26TH THROUGH OCTOBER 9TH, FROM THE 66TH PRECINCT'S PIMS UNIT

The PIMS unit of the 66th Precinct tells us that
  • two crimes were reported in Sector G (Caton Avenue to Beverley Road) and one in Sector K (Beverley Road to Avenue F) during the week of September 26th through October 2nd and
  • one in Sector G during the week of October 3rd through October 9th.

Week of September 26th through October 2nd 

Sector G

   Grand Larceny
  • September 27th, 3:00 p.m., Ocean Parkway. A man states that while reviewing his bank statement, he noticed that an unknown person opened a PayPal account linked to his account without permission or authority. The victim discovered the incident at his home.
   Assault
  • October 1st, 5:00 a.m., Ditmas Avenue and E. 4th Street. A man states that while in a cab (Church Avenue Car Service), the driver struck him with a club, causing laceration to the top of his head. The cause of the assault is unknown.

Sector K
   Burglary

  • September 26th, 11:00 p.m., Church Avenue. The victim states that an unknown person, without permission or authority, entered the location through a rear entrance door and removed $75 in cash from the register.
Week of October 3rd through October 9th

Sector G
   Robbery

  • October 7th, 10:30 p.m., Cortelyou Road and Coney Island Avenue. A woman states that a man approached her and punched her in her, face causing bruising. He then removed the cellphone from her hand without permission or authority. An arrest was made.
