DOG WALKING IN PROSPECT PARK

Walk (and Sniff) around Prospect Park
Sunday, October 16th, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Calling all adopted dogs:

If you were adopted from a shelter or a rescue, you're  invited to take a casual leashed walk in Prospect Park while your adoptive parents exchange stories and advice and you both get exercise and socialize in a controlled environment.

Batman, a black chihuahua who wears a red collar, will meet you by the horse statue at Prospect Park West and 9th Street, along with his companion Kate Tully, organizer of Adopted Dogs of NYC.

Humans: You don't need to own a dog to participate. You may just feel like walking a dog.
