BROOKLYN COMMUNE HONORS WT FIREFIGHTERS

On September 11th, Eugenie and Chris--the owners of Brooklyn Commune--and some neighborhood residents honored Windsor Terrace's firefighters, thanking them for the important and dangerous job they do every day. At the firehouse, they presented the firefighters with 170 drawings and thank-you notes made by neighborhood children and fed them lunch: tomato and mozzarella salad, macaroni and cheese, roasted filet mignon with cipollini onions and mushrooms, and banana bread pudding. Nothing but the finest for NYC's Finest.
