LOCAL COOLING CENTERS FOR RELIEF FROM THE HEAT

New York City has cooling centers in air-conditioned public facilities for people who are experiencing physical discomfort in a heat wave. Our neighborhood has several cooling centers. Call ahead to make sure they're open.
